In this video, I read the text Best Western, a short piece of memoir, out loud for the first time to my partner and filmed his reaction. I then asked him to read it aloud back to me and filmed my own reaction. Best Western asks the audience to consider the grey area between truth and fact, the performance of intimacy, and how to reconcile the grievances that live alongside love.
